“Best of Breed“ is determined by the Judge after judging all classes males and females (Youth, Honorary, Veteran, Intermediate, Champion, Working and Open Class). All CACIB winners, the Youth winners provided they received the highest possible classification, the first of Honorary Class as well as the first of Veteran Class will participate in this competition.
Veteran Competition
“Best Veterans of Breed“ are entitled to participate. The assessment of the dogs in this competition is carried out by the judge according to the standard. However particular consideration should be given to the overall condition of the dogs. The organisers will place and introduce the veterans to the public individually (1-3).
Best in Group (BIG)
Each Best of Breed will participate in the Group Cimpetition (Group = FCI Group). Each Best of Breed will receive a diploma showing the colour of the corresponding group. Only dogs with such a diploma may participate in the competition.
Best in Show (BIS) of the
VDH-Europasieger-Ausstellung 2009
All Group winners of the
VDH-Europasieger-Ausstellung will participate in the competition "Best in Show (BIS) of the
VDH-Europasieger-Ausstellung" which will take playe on 3th May, 2009, around 6.30 p.m.
Breeders’ Group
A Breeders’ Group will consist of a minimum of 3 dogs or one breed with the same kennel name. Each must at least have achieved the classification “good“ of have been shown in the Honorary or Veteran Class on the day of the show.
Progeny Group
Any offspring of a dog or bitch may participate in the progeny group competition. A group consists of the sire or dam with at least 5 offspring, male and female. All entered dogs must have been shown before with at least the classification “good“. At least two dogs of the group must have been presented at this day‘s show. The required classification document must be presented with the entry. Judging criteria are the quality of each dog and the phenotypical conformity with sire or dam.
Couple class
A male and a female, both property of the exhibitor, may be entered. Judging is according the Breeders’ Group and the most typical couple should win. Both dogs must at least have achieved the classification of “good“ or have been exhibited in the Honorary Class or Veteran Class on the day of the show.
“Junior handling“
This is a very helpful preparation for Youngsters who intend to exhibit dogs in future. Therefore, the quality of dogs presented by them will be irrelevant.
