Pure-bred dogs from about 30 nations will be presented on the VDH-Europasieger Dog Show in the „Westfalenhallen“ in Dortmund.

From „Affenpinscher“ to „Weimaraner“: Dogs of 240 different breeds can be admired on one of the biggest dogs shows in Europe.

A varied show and frame-work with dogs offers an exciting programme on all three days from 10.00 a.m. Beside the spectaculary frisbee-show in hall 4 there are television dogs, dog dancing, rescue dogs and the final for the title „Best in Show“. Sporting highlight are the qualifications for the Agility World Championship. The best sportsmen take the leap into the German National team and will be established until Sunday.

Which breed is fitting to me? Different breeds will be presented by experts in hall 5. From the little Chihuahua to the big Great Dane: questions on owning, caring and characteristic will be answered. Who considers to buy a dog will find 80 information stands of the VDH clubs with competent contact persons who arrange contact to serious breeders.

For visitors coming with the own dog (don’t forget the vaccination card and vaccination against rabies) there are special action areas with a lot of activities to join. Here is the offer of a free health check, education tips and an Agility workshop.
